AMPLIFY Offers Assistance to Potential Victims Following Michael Caruso Arrest

Law Firm Marketing and Public Relations Agency Offers to Help Connect Individuals With Attorneys Following Child Sexual Abuse Allegations

PALM BEACH, Fla., Aug. 19, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Following the arrest of suspended Palm Beach County Clerk and Comptroller Michael Caruso on five charges related to the alleged sexual abuse of a young relative, AMPLIFY is offering to help individuals who believe they may have information about Caruso or may have experienced similar conduct connect with qualified attorneys.

The effort comes after attorneys representing the boy at the center of the case publicly urged other potential victims and tipsters to come forward.

Caruso, 67, was arrested August 18 following an investigation into allegations involving a young relative between 2024 and 2025. Authorities have not publicly confirmed whether additional alleged victims are part of the investigation, although investigators have indicated that additional charges may be forthcoming.

Caruso has not been convicted of any crime, and the allegations against him remain pending.

Caruso was a longtime member of the Palm Beach County community. In addition to his political career and appointment as Palm Beach County clerk and comptroller, he coached Delray Beach Little League for more than 30 years and, according to the Florida House of Representatives, led Cub Scout and Boy Scout troops.

For individuals who may have information about Caruso or who believe they may have experienced abuse, coming forward can be difficult—particularly when allegations involve someone who held a position of trust in a family or community.

AMPLIFY is offering to serve as a resource for individuals who do not know where to turn by helping connect them with attorneys experienced in handling child sexual abuse and sexual abuse cases.

“Whenever allegations like these become public, there may be people who have questions about their own experiences or information they have witnessed but don't know who to contact,” said Matthew Hughes, Chief Brand Ambassador at AMPLIFY. “Our goal is simply to help people find the appropriate legal resources. We are not involved in the Caruso case, but we believe people who may have information should know that qualified legal help is available.”

Individuals do not need to determine on their own whether their experience constitutes a legal claim before seeking advice from an attorney. Speaking with a qualified lawyer can help someone understand their rights, options and whether their information may be relevant to an ongoing investigation.

Anyone seeking assistance in identifying an attorney experienced in child sexual abuse or sexual abuse cases may contact AMPLIFY.

AMPLIFY is not affiliated with Michael Caruso, the alleged victim, The Haba Law Firm or the criminal investigation. AMPLIFY is offering this information solely as a public-service resource.
